Apply for Grant – The Pierce Twins

Positive Change Charities will provide grants on an annual basis to schools that want to buy books written by diverse authors to expand their library selections and/or for use in class assignments

Complete and Submit the Application below.

There are two keys to grant eligibility:

1) The applicant must be a teacher or administrator for an Illinois school grades, K-12.

2) The applicant/school can only apply once in a calendar year.

Application Period
– Sept. 1, 2023 – Nov. 1, 2023

Notification to Recipients
– Dec. 6, 2023 – Dec. 26, 2023

Needs Assessment Period for Awardees
– Dec. 6, 2023 – Jan. 16, 2024

Book Distribution
– Feb 6, 2024 – April 22, 2024

We promote positivity, wellness, social equity, and literacy for kids and teens. We want to help provide Illinois schools and kids with diverse reading materials from authors of various backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Positive Change Charities, a 501(c)(3) organization, has provided more than 3500 books written by multicultural authors to kids in need and underfunded school libraries across Chicago and surrounding suburbs across the state of Illinois.
